About this site

My name is Virginia, though I go by Ptocheia online generally. This is my blog for posting all sorts of miscellaneous things that strike me as interesting to talk about. I do web design and development, and have recently been obsessed with CSS3 and Drupal. I have a mishmash of other interests, including traditional art, writing, anime, sewing, cooking, car repair, hiking, biking, and probably other things I can’t think of. All of these I get bored and babble about on here from time to time.

I’ve got a bunch of sites, all serving their various porpoises. The most pertinent, in this case, is varoper.com, which has all of my art and design and programming dumped in one convenient location. I write another blog, called What I Eat, Apparently. At some point or another, I realized that a significant chunk of my regular blog entries were about food, so I decided it was to to just start a separate blog just for all of the random weird stuff I get bored and make.

Incidentally, the layout of this site is more or less always a work in progress. I use it to test out new and exciting things. Or, at least that’s my current excuse for why it tends to be a jumble more often then not!
